On Tuesday, Bayern Munich snuck past South Korea’s Jeju side with a 2-1 victory. Bayern will play the final friendly of the Asian preseason tour against Aston Villa from the Premier League. Aston Villa also qualified for the 2026/27 Champions League by finishing fourth in the table last season.

Bayern is rumored to be negotiating with Aston Villa over midfielder João Palhinha. Bayern is holding firm at the asking price of €25M and will use this match to convince Aston Villa to complete the move that benefits all parties involved.
